The project is an exciting new fresh food precinct by QIC Global Real Estate for Taylors Lakes in Victoria, containing a mix of fresh food retailers and market style dining experiences. The architectural strategy is based on creating a diversity of experiences beneath a shared canopy that blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors. A series of retail pavilions are set within an overarching trellis canopy that ties the project together and extends into the landscape to bring the outdoors into the project. The mall spaces between pavilions are naturally ventilated, and feature a translucent roof that allows extensive planting to grow throughout the space.
