Beyond challenges the typological tradition of bed side tables as a single, integrated piece of furniture by creating not a finished form but a set of pieces able to be combined in different ways.

The boxes in the set are exactly the same in materiality and proportion. However, every box is slightly smaller than the previous one, creating a size gradient that evokes the possibility of endless growth.
This scaling also constructs an effect of perspective, an illusion of depth that emphasizes the perception of infinite repetition.

This geometrical condition enables the possibility for the boxes to be nested in each other, allowing easier transport, storage and new possibilities in the combination game.
